All coaches and athletes are taught the following…

obey the rules of the traIL

We only ride legal and open trails, we obey all posted rules for any given trail system, and we never alter or cut new trails without express permission.

Rule 2.5 (Red Level Consequence)

KNOW YOUR RIGHT-OF-WAY

We always follow posted right-of-way signs. When no signs are present, we yield to hikers, pedestrians, and equestrians. When riding downhill, our riders always yield to uphill riders unless posted otherwise.

Rule 2.7

BE COURTEOUS

For safety reasons, we always communicate when overtaking/passing any other trail user. We also make certain to ask equestrians for direction before passing or overtaking them.

Rule 2.7
Rule 2.8

KEEP IT FUN FOR EVERYONE!

To be compliant with the League’s Risk Management Protocol, all teams must maintain proper ride group organization and coach to athlete ratios. Additionally, we do our best to prevent our teams from overcrowding trails or trail heads, so everyone can enjoy these resources.
